Short bio:
Benedikt Gollan received his diploma degree from the Technical University Munich in Electrical Engineering in 2010. Focus was laid on pattern recognition, image processing and computer vision. His student research project and diploma thesis were situated in the field of Music Information Retrieval, in which he designed a demonstration tool for audio processing.
The main focus during studies at the institute of Human-Machine-Communication (MMK) was on video-, image- and audio processing in the context of fundamental research as well as design of new user interfaces.
In 2010 he joined the Research Studio Pervasive Computing Applications where he is currently involved in the DISPLAYS project, a three years effort to build innovative pervasive display systems.
